NINTENDO: Zelda: Wind Waker HD arrives in October

The HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker will be released October 2013.

The first footage from the Wii U title was shown during today’s E3 Nintendo Direct. It is a faithful recreation of the popular GameCube title with improved graphics at 1080p.

It also revives the original version’s Tingle Tuner, but rather than using a Game Boy Advance and Link Cable, Wii U owners will be able to use the tablet controller.

This means players can post messages and screenshots on Miiverse, or send their friends messages in a bottle.

It will be released at retail and via the eShop in October.
