Now PES 2015 has a release date; Demo available before FIFA 15

Konami has revealed a November release date for PES 2015.

The game will hit PS4 and Xbox One for the first time as well as PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 13th. Contrary to rumours circulating yesterday, there will not be a Wii U version.

Furthermore, a demo will be released on September 17th – a week before FIFA 15 is released on September 26th.

Germany and Bayern Munich’s Mario Gtze has also been named as the game’s cover star.

PES 2015 centered on the mantra of ‘the pitch is ours’,” Konami said. This mantra sees the game faithfully recreating the heart-in-mouth tension of top-flight football through all-new control elements, including the most authentic close control system ever, new shooting routines, realistic player and team AI that mimics that of the game’s real life counterparts, and enhanced goalkeepers.

Thus, after much consideration, Konami feels that Mario Gtze is the player that truly epitomizes the pace, skill and moments of incredible brilliance that elevate modern football.”

We’d have gone for Iain Dowie ourselves but each to their own.
