As was rumoured back in July, developer Crytek is to finally bring PC classic shooter Crysis to both PS3 and Xbox 360 – and the release date is right upon us.
The four year-old title will be getting a few tweaks, too. The PC original was a graphical powerhouse and still, on a visual basis at least, graphically outperforms console titles.
The console version has some changes to the lighting model and will also incorporate the revised control method first debuted in Crysis 2.
The best surprise, though, is that the game will be released in October courtesy of publisher EA.
