PS4 and PC horror title Daylight delayed

Zombie Studios has delayed PS4 and PC horror title Daylight, although it’s still due out before the end of the month.

The game was scheduled to hit on April 8th but will now instead arrive on April 29th.

Daylight is also going to be discounted on PSN for PS Plus members in the US. There’s no word yet on whether UK PS4 owners will receive similar treatment, although it has been confirmed that the game will be discounted for PC on Steam from 11.99 to 7.99 for a limited period.

Let’s not mince words,” the developer said. First news you need to know about Daylight is that we had to delay the release date by several weeks.

Here’s the thing: the way Daylight is developed is completely different because of its procedural generation. In a lot of ways it really helped the team by streamlining the environment creation, but it’s taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly implemented for maximum player effect.

Tl;dr: we’re fine tuning Daylight to make it scarier.”
