Square Enix has announced a release date for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PS4.
The game will be released on Sony’s console on April 14th, with owners of the PS3 game able to transfer their progress for free. Details on how to do this will be announced later, although do note that doing so kills the PS3 version for participants.
Folk who pre-order will gain entry to the SKU’s Early Access period from April 11th and get two free in-game items.
A Collector’s Edition has also been confirmed with a host of extras, two of which were not found in the CE release on either PS3 or PC. Players with a digital versions of the Standard game will be offered an upgrade path to the CE.
The monthly subscription price will be £7.69.
