PSP Phone due in February?

New launch details surrounding the rumoured PSP Phone have emerged suggesting the device will arrive next February.

French tech blog Nowhereelse claims to have received an image of a press invitation for a Sony event on December 9th, as reported by Pocket Gamer.

The invite, which shows the four PlayStation symbols next to an image of a phone, states: The most awaited event of the past 10 years.”

According to Mobile Crunch the invite is for a real announcement event for the PSP Phone. The website also said that a Sony Ericsson representative told them the firm is aiming for a February launch for the device.

It has also been reported by the site that games for PSP Phone will be priced similarly to mobile games such as those on the iPhone App Store. It heard that the PSP Phone will cost $500 with five free games without a contract.

Last month supposedly leaked images of the PSP Phone emerged.
