Ratchet & Clank will release one week before Uncharted 4

Ratchet & Clank will release slightly later in the UK than previously thought.

Sony has said the PS4 platformer will arrive in the UK on April 22nd. Surprisingly, that’s just a week before the release of Sony’s Uncharted 4 on April 29th.

Of course, the crossover between the game’s audiences is likely to be reasonably limited – but for a company that has been short on platform exclusives, releasing two of them just a week apart seems curious.

Ratchet & Clank will arrive a little earlier in France on April 15th and in other PAL countries on April 20th.

The first instalment of Ratchet & Clank for PS4 will tell a new version of the origin story many of you will remember,” developer Insomniac said. It features modern Ratchet & Clank controls, new planets, new and improved gameplay, all-new boss fights, new flight sequences and much, much more.
