Read about the future of games retail in this week's MCV

The latest MCV is now available and this week we look at how games retail has changed over the last few years and why we need specialist games stores.

We also announce our new event, Games Retail 2020, which is going to look at the future of games retail.

In our Insight section this week, Piers Harding-Rolls, head of IHS Technology, shares his thoughts about whether Android TV could damage the consoles.

Peter Hines, VP of marketing of Bethesda, talks to MCV about the slightly different games that the publisher is releasing, such as free-to-play online shooter Battlecry.

Our Big Game this week is PlayStation 4 title The Last of Us Remastered – we talk to SCEE product manager Josh Walker about the changes made to this updated version of last year's PS3 classic.

And in our Margin Maker section we do a round up of all the best accessories announced at this year's E3, including Nintendo's Amiibo figures and a variety of headsets from the likes of Gioteck, Turtle Beach and PDP.

The magazine is available for iPad. Download our app now, which includes access to the last two years of MCV, and includes a free archive of back issues from during that time.
