The first online listings for Nintendo’s Wii Mini peg the hardware at around £80.
That’s consistent with what MCV has heard about the machine’s cost price, and also leaves a little room for manoeuvre should retail decide to get competitive.
The price represents an unwelcome but unsurprising mark-up on the $99 Canadian price, which translates directly to under £65.
It’s also not a significant drop from the sort of prices doing the rounds for entry-level normal Wii SKUs. The comparison looks even less favourable when the price of pre-owned hardware is taken into account.
