Rumour: EA prepping Battlefield premium service

EA may be planning a Call of Duty Elite-style subscription service for Battlefield 3.

Battlefieldoreports that an anonymous source has passed on details regarding ‘Battlefield Premium.’ The program is supposedly scheduled to launch June 4th.

Players who sign-up will reportedly receive extra assignments, a premium knife, black dog tag, soldier camos, weapon camos, and more.

Additionally the report claims that Battlefield 3 will get a fifth expansion pack in March of next year, beyond the title’s ‘End Game’ content that’s slated for this winter.

The launch date lines up nicely with E3, so we should have an idea by then on whether or not these currently unconfirmed details will all come to fruition as proposed.
