Segas Alien-based FPS named

More or less nothing is known about Sega’s upcoming Alien FPS as of yet – but the next issue of US games mag

claims to have the scoop on the game’s title.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is being developed by Gearbox, the US studio behind WWII FPS Brothers in Arms. It was also the outfit behind the PC iterations of Halo and James Bond 007: Nightfire, as well as the unreleased Dreamcast version of Half-Life.

The game’s name hints at a title with ties to the second movie in the Alien series (Aliens), which saw a team of intergalactic hard nuts set out to investigate the apparent disappearance of a human terraforming colony on the planet in which the Alien was encountered in the first film.
