A patch for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that was supposed to fix an error with the PS3 version has introduced two fresh bugs to the game.
The PS3 version of the game has been plagued since launch with frame-rate problems. Many users had reported that once their save game file reaches a certain size the game’s frame-rate would dramatically suffer after long play sessions.
The recently released 1.2 patch was supposed to address this. But not only are some users reporting that the problem persists, but talk of new issues has emerged.
Bethesda’s forums are plagued with fresh complaints about character resistances. The game allows players to use certain items or character-specific perks to protect against certain attacks or situations. These seem to have been universally disabled.
And another complaint relates to the sudden appearance of dragons who fly backwards in the game world.
The new problems have been reported both in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the games.
