US hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg – or Snoop dee oh double gee, as he refers to himself in the video below – is heading to Call of Duty.
The rapper is lending his voice to a new $2.99 voice pack DLC release which adds a number of his sound bites to the game’s multiplayer mode.
There’s also a ‘Blunt Force Personalisation Pack’ that adorns a user’s weapons with marijuana leaves – something that Mr Dogg is not shy of openly expressing his appreciation of.
“What means the most about the project is that my voice can be connected with a game that’s so hip and so hood,” Snoop says below. “I think the writers did a good job of creating the lines specifically for me. They knew my flavour and they allowed me to, y’know, do my thing and put a little Snoop-ism on top of it.”
Snoop added that “nine out of ten rappers play this game” – the same approval rating as boasted by rival species feeder Whiskas, incidentally.
Also on the way to Call of Duty: Ghosts is a Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey of Full Metal Jacket voice pack and a John 'Soap' MacTavish personalisation pack.
All the DLC will be released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Tuesday April 22nd with a rollout on other platforms to follow.
