SONY: GT5 shown off

After showing off Gran Turismo on PSP, Sony had an even bigger shock for racing fans at E3 audience today – a never-before-seen video of upcoming PS3 title Gran Turismo 5.

SCEA president Jack Tretton played the short video on stage, which won widespread applause from the crowd at Sony’s conference.

Tellingly, both the coveted WRC and NASCAR logos were shown in the video – confirming that Sony’s licences team has been hard at work to secure rights.
