Sony will in all likelihood finally announce the official name for its PS3 Motion Controller at its GDC press conference in around two hours time – and it seems as if ‘PlayStation Move’ is the odds-on favourite.
Joystiq reports that SCEE has in the last few hours filed a trademark for the name in Europe, along with a possible logo (pictured).
VG247 adds that ‘Arc’, the name many had been referring to the device as until now, has supposedly been dropped after a trademark dispute – perhaps with Microsoft which owns the name in relation to a folding PC mouse.
Either way, the truth is out there – and very nearly upon us.
