Sony US quietly offers Crystal White Vita as standalone product

Sony has released the ‘crystal white’ PS Vita as a standalone product, not that the firm is keen on sharing that information.

Kotaku reports the device has quietly appeared on Amazon for $199, though no other retailers are currently carrying the handheld.

Sony, for its part, has provided no details on the new availability of the product.

The white Vita originally launched in Japan as a standalone product in 2012, and later released outside the country as a special edition hardware bundle with Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.
