Sony signs rights to Steve Jobs: The Film

Sony Pictures has reportedly paid $1 million for the rights to produce Steve Jobs’ biopic, after the Apple founder died earlier this month.

Former Time Magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson wrote the original biography, which was sourced from interviews with Jobs, his family, and others that knew him.

Tributes have poured in for the former Apple CEO, though open source advocate and founder of the ‘free software movement’ Richard Stallman has also made headlines for his dissenting comments.
