Steam Greenlight launches, nearly 400 entries already added

Valve has launched its crowdsource-based indie game selection application Steam Greenlight.

The site had around two dozen titles listed shortly after launch this morning, and at current stands at 379 games.

"We’ve been working on this feature for the last few months with the input from a group of indie partners, and the response has been extremely positive," Valve’s Anna Sweet stated.

Announced last month, Greenlight aims to be a hub for developers to post info about their games to get community feedback and get voted for potential selection by Valve as well.
