Street Fighter producer steps down temporarily

Popular Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono says he will be ‘out of the limelight for a while’ following his hospitalisation.

Ono was admitted to hospital last week after his physical condition "heavily deteriorated" during a game promotion tour across Asia.

"I’ll be out of the limelight as fighting game series for a while. I’ll think about the new future of fighting game after this," Ono said on Twitter."I’ll refrain from work for my current job. Another person is in charge of the Street Fighter series for a while. Of course I’ll constantly support it."
