Sumo, Apple, King and Google go head-to-head in charity bowling contest

The UK games industry will gather at the end of the month for a ten-pin bowling tournament.

The charity event, named Strike Club, will take place on Wednesday, April 27that the Ham Yard hotel in London.

The evening’s goal is to raise over 30,000 for Special Effect, with the support of sponsors such a Sega, Backed VC, Miniclip, Space Ape, Upsight, Square Enix Collective, playhubs, Testology and Marcussen Consulting.

Sumo Digital, King, Media Molecule, Apple, Hutch, Google, Future Games of London, ustwo, Fireproof and EGX will be amongst the 32 teams representing the biggest games companies in the UK.

Strike Club is co-organised by Gamer Network and investor and advisor Chris Lee.

With over 150 people confirmed to attend, from the UK’s most exciting studios, it promises to be a great evening and the beginning of what we hope will become an annual event.”
