SuperCar Challenge is built on the same engine as the former title, and will include 40 vehicles including the Aston Martin DB9, Lamborghini Murcielago RGT and McLaren F1 – as well as a still healthy selection of Ferrari’s.
Over 20 racetracks are also set for inclusion, including UK race circuit Silverstone, Spa and the famous Nurbergring.
An updated Assist Mode will make it easier for novice racers to get to grips with the action, whilst Arcade Mode allows gamers to tap in to the full power of the machines on offer but with a more forgiving handling style. There’s also Simulation mode, which sees life-like handling create a testing challenge.
System 3 claims developer Eutechnyx has also completely reworked the AI that reacts to the skill of the player. Graphics and sound have also received a significant boost
The game is due for release on PS3 next spring.
