Tales of Berseria and God Eater 2 confirmed for PS4 in the West

Bandai Namco has left it until just days before Christmas – and after most of the games press seems to have gone home – to announce a host of new titles and release dates.

First off, both God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 are PS4, Vita and PC bound some time in the summer of 2016.

Also confirmed for PS4 in the West is RPG outing Tales of Berseria and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. One Piece Burning Blood is on the way to both of Sony’s consoles and PC, the latter of which has also had a Steam version of Tales of Symphonia confirmed for February 2nd.

Vita, meanwhile, will play host to Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force, while Digimon Story Cybersleuth is now pencilled in for February 5th on PS4 and Vita.

PS4, Xbox One and Vita, meanwhile, will also see versions Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig-Dug and Ms Pac-Man arrive on their digital storefronts.

On top of all of that, Project X Zone 2’s release date has been shoved forward a week on the Nintendo eShop to February 12th.

More content is also on the way to smartphone title Pac-Man 256 in the form of a new paid theme and a free theme, as well as Apple TV and iCloud support. Tap My Katamari is also due for release soon on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

In only 5 years, the God Eater franchise turned into a phenomenon in Japan, and Asia selling more than 3 million copies,” European VP of marketing and digital Herv Hoerdt said. This monster slaying universe isn’t only bound to games, as our teams managed to successfully expand the experience into other areas such as anime but also manga and popular soundtracks.

Our western fans have been asking to get their hands on a localized God Eater game, we heard them and to start with, we are bringing two of them! This is just the beginning as we are planning on bringing more exceptional content to our territories in a very near future.”
