Team Liquid announces new Dota roster and partnership with AOC

Team Liquid has announced its new Dota 2 roster along with bringing on AOC as a sponsor.

The new Dota roster sees Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen, Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Borislavov and Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi stay with the organisation, while Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi and Kanishka ‘Sam’ "BuLba" Sosale have joined the team.

Miracle- was formerly on OG, who managed to win both the Frankfurt and Manila majors last year and was regarded as one of the best players in the world. BuLba had a more unsettled year, playing for DC, EG and Team Secret, and failing to win any major events.

Thanks to KuroKy for believing in me and giving the opportunity to play with everyone,” said BuLba. I will be playing support which I haven’t played for a year and a half. I feel I have learned a lot since the last time I played the role and am confident in myself adjusting to the new position and helping the team with my strengths and experience. I am excited for what’s to come, especially since I am friends with everyone on the team. Team Liquid was, in a way, my home away from home. I am glad to be back on Liquid.”

The Team Liquid organisation also announced that monitor manufacturer AOC has come on board as a sponsor. Liquid players will now use AOC’s 144hz monitors when playing.
