Test Drive DLC goes free

The development team behind Atari’s recent console release Test Drive Unlimited has announced that it is to make the first premium DLC for the game free to download.

The decision comes after the prolonged technical issues that have dogged the game since launch.

Furthermore, Eden Games says that a patch is currently undergoing the Microsoft and Sony submission test that will address a number of issues such as logging in problems, network stability, corrupt game saves, invites, cash exploits and problems with Clubs.

Eden adds that many saves that have previously been corrupted should be restored once the patch is installed.

"Thank you for your continued support and feedback," a statements reads. "Our community has been amazing and helped us quickly identify a number of issues, which we have made significant progress in addressing in the upcoming patches.

"We really appreciate your patience in this matter and we would like to announce that we will be making the first premium DLC for the game free for everybody as a way of saying thank you.

"The Exploration Pack contains new wrecks to be discovered that unlock the Lancia Stratos version Rallye and 1969 Dodge Charger."
