The Unfinished Swan will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita later this month, developer Giant Sparrow has announced.
A post on the PlayStation US Blog reveals the game will arrive in North America on October 28th. The mirrored post on the PlayStation Europe Blog confirms the game for an October 29th release in the region.
The Unfinished Swan originally debuted on PlayStation 3 in October 2012 to critical acclaim and (apparent) commercial success. Players assume the role of a paintbrush-wielding orphan boy surrounded by a magical, incomplete kingdom.
All three editions of the game will offer cross-buy—meaning those who pick the game up on one platform will have it for all three. That’s good news for owners of the game on PS3, who score the updated version at no extra cost on PS4 and Vita.
Giant Sparrow collaborated with Armature Studio on the updated 1080p version heading to Sony’s most-current console and handheld next week. Aramture developed the PS Vita version of Injustice: Gods Among Us, as well as Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.
