CD Projekt Red will not offer different exclusive content on different platforms in The Witcher 3.
Games such as Watch Dogs have recently come in for criticism for releasing a huge number of SKUs (specifically, ten) with certain content locked away for owners of specific partner platforms.
This isn’t a strategy CD Projekt is looking to ape.
"We are treating all gamers equally," co-founder Marcin Iwinski told Eurogamer. "We’ll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody’s paying us money for that.
It’s definitely against our values. We are not doing that."
Iwinski did add that marketing partnerships might be a possibility, adding that any such agreement would be revealed at E3.
