Thomas Was Alone coming to iPad

Popular indie title Thomas Was Alone is launching on iPad today.

The BAFTA-winning game has been a smash hit on PC, PS3 and Vita, and now the game is coming to tablets courtesy of Bossa Studios.

Last month, the title’s creator Mike Bithell announced via Twitter that it had sold over 1m units since it launched in July 2012 – though that figure does not include downloads from when the title was including in free Sony’s PlayStation Plus scheme.

The popular indie game initially started as a flash title on gaming website Kongregate in 2010.

I’m really excited to be working with Bossa Studios to bring Thomas Was Alone to iPad,” said Bithell.

It’s a game that’s found a broad audience on desktop and consoles and we’re excited to see how this translates to a device as mainstream as the iPad. It plays really well.”
