Twitch announced as livestream and award partner for Women in Games Awards 2017

MCV, Develop and eSports Pro are happy to announce Twitch as livestream and award partner for the Women in Games Awards 2017.

"Supporting diversity and recognizing the contributions of women in the games industry are of prime importance at Twitch," said Jason Fletcher, director of marketing, EMEA at Twitch.

"As the livestream and award partner of the MCV Women in Games Awards 2017, we are not only promoting women’s accomplishments in gaming, but also giving our community a chance to show their support for the women who make Twitch and the industry what it is today."

Taking place on Friday May 19th at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London,The Women in Games Awards 2017 will see MCV, Develop and eSports Pro celebrate the plethora of female talent in the games industry across eight individual awards.

This year’s categories include New Development Talent, Creative Impact, Rising Star, Businesswoman of the Year, Career Mentor, eSports Contender, Breakthrough Talent and Outstanding Contribution.
