Two Bohemia Interactive devs arrested for spying on Greek military base

The Arma series prides itself on its military realism, and its developers will seemingly go to great lengths to adjust it.

PC Gamer reports that two of the Czech studio’s developers, aged 28 and 33, have been arrested by Greek police after they were discovered spying on a military installation.

They were gathering pictures and video as reference material for the in-development Arma 3.

Both have been charged with espionage and could face a lengthy prison sentence of convicted.

CEO Mark Spanel confirmed the claims on the studio’s forums, saying: This is true. We prefer this topic not to be discussed on our forums atm, at least until we know more specific details about the case.”
