UK CHARTS: Homefront is No.1

After a massive marketing campaign and a huge amountof hype, THQ’s big FPS contender Homefront has debuted at the top of the UKIE games charts compiled by GfK Chart-Track.

Last week’s chart winner, EA’s Dragon Age II, slips to second spot ahead of Nintendo’s Pokemon White which also slips one position to third.

Sega’s PC strategy title Shogun 2: Total War debuts in fourth position while 2K Sports’ tennis sim Top Spin 4 claims 13th in its first week of release. Sega has another new Top 40 title, too, in the form of Yakuza 4 in 25th.

THQ’s uDraw Studio slips four slots to 14th and Nintendo’s Wii platformer climbs ten places to 17th.
