UK CHARTS: MW2 holds on to top spot

It’s as you were at the top of the ELSPA GfK-ChartTrack All Formats Top 40 this week with Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 spending its third week at the top of the listings despite a 32 per cent week-on-week drop in sales.

Second and third places remain unchanged in the All Formats list, with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed and Nintendo’s New Super Mario Bros Wii clinging on.

The only new entry in the Top Ten is Codemaster’s F1 2009, which climbs one position to tenth. You have to scan all the way down to 29th to see a new entry – Sony’s Invizimals.
