UK developer conjures up BBC Merlin game

Bossa Studios is currently working on a new Facebook game based on the hit BBC drama Merlin.

The browser-based title will allow Facebook users to fight alongside each other against the dark forces that threaten Camelot.

Merlin: The Game will launch this autumn, coinciding with the beginning of the show’s fifth season.

A closed beta for Merlin: The Game will kick off next month at Comic-Con International, which runs from July 12th to 15th. Fans can sign up to take part at www.merlingame.com.

"We have carefully crafted the game to capture the very essence of the world’s most famous sorcerer," said Bossa Studios’ creator in chief Imre Jele.

"Players can explore magical lands while adventuring alongside trusty allies in the Crystal Cave, knocking out ferocious WIlddeoren rats or uniting with one of their favourite characters like Merlin or Arthur."
