Uncharted: The Lost Legacy holds second UK No.1

Switch exclusive Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle didn’t manage to take the top spot for its first week in the charts, as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy remained No.1 for a second week. Sales for Sony’s title were down 70 per cent week-on-week though.

Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids debuted at No.2 to decent sales, though it didn’t reach the height of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Week One sales, which entered the charts directly at No.1 back in April.

F1 2017 took No.3, having debuted at No.2 the week before, with sales decreasing 49 per cent week-on-week, while GTA V gained one spot to No.4 with a 28 per cent growth. Activision’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy continued to sell well despite more competition on shelves, and landed No.5 with sales only declining two per cent.

There were three other new entries in the Top Ten, including two PS4 exclusive: Sony’s Everybody’s Golf landed No.6, while Sega’s Yakuza Kiwami entered the charts at No.8. After two years in Early Access, a price controversy and a delay at retail, Studio Wildcard’s Ark Survival Evolved finally hit shelves last week and debuted at No.7.

There were more new entries further down the charts, with Maximum Games’ Dead Alliance taking No.39 and Capcom’s Resident Evil: Revelations HD landing No.40.

Meanwhile, the promotion on Overwatch’s Game of the Year edition continued to boost the title last week, and the SKU saw a 114 per cent boost in sales, gaining 12 spots to reach No.9. Team17’s The Escapists 2 had a decent second week on shelves, with sales only declining 13 per cent week-on-week, and landed No.18.

Despite the new releases and good performances from the usual best-sellers, the market was still down 12 per cent in units and nine per cent in value week-on-week.
