VIDEO: FIFA 14 Career Mode gets new scouting features

EA has released a video detailing the new scouting features available in FIFA 14’s Career Mode.

Players will start out with a certain number of scouts depending on the club they are managing. Bigger clubs will unsurprisingly have more to choose from up to a maximum of six.

These scouts can then be sent out to look for players with certain attributes. Once a potential star is spotted further scouting of them will be required if a manager wants a more accurate picture of them before considering a possible approach.

The Transfer section itself will offer lots more information this time, too. Players can now be signed on a pre-contract agreement before their time at their current club is up, and those of a certain age with less than six months left on their contract will be able to enter into negotiations without the involvement of their parent club.

Users can also choose to automatically reject approaches for select squad members, eradicating the need to respond to repeated offers for key players.

FIFA 14 is out on September 27th.
