Video Games: The Movie premieres worldwide next month

Variance Films’ Video Games: The Movie is set to premiere this July, according to a new trailer for the movie.

While the trailer itself states the movie is out this summer, the video’s YouTube description states the film will see a worldwide premiere in theaters and simultaneous on demand release on July 15th.

The Zach Braff-produced film is narrated by Sean Astin, and includes interviews with Chris Hardwick, Nolan Bushnell, Warren Spector, Cliff Blieszinski, Hideo Kojima, Alison Haislip, Will Wheaton and many other individuals tied to the industry.

The feature looks to cover the cultural impact of gaming, the way things have rapidly evolved, and how that has affected fans and players across the globe.
