Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard and Zachary ‘Spock’ Quinto are the stars of Microsoft’s global Xbox One TV ad campaign.
The short is called ‘Invitation’ and sees Gerrard inviting a fan onto the pitch and Spock inviting a woman… well, we’re not sure, onto the Holodeck or something. Oh no, wrong era.
The Guardian estimates the Microsoft has spent in the region of $100m on its global Xbox One campaign, which it says will kick off in the UK next week ahead of the console’s November 22nd launch.
