VIDEOS: YouTube rolls out 60fps video

Users are now able to upload videos to YouTube at 60 frames per second.

The service announced plans to introduce the facility back in June, upping playback from the traditional limit of 24 frames per second.

Those wishing to view the footage need to use Google’s Chrome browser and select either the 720p60 or 1080p60 option from the dropdown menu. 60fps is only available with HD videos.
