Wear VR storefront nets secures $1.5m investment

Virtual reality app store Wear VR has raised $1.5m as it aims to build a more robust independent marketplace.

As reported byVenturebeat, the firm plans to release a mobile that will let users find virtual reality games on their smartphones.

The store is said to house some 900 VR apps for a variety of different headsets, which have been downloaded more than 200,000 times.
