The winners of the Thumbstar Games Journalism Prize were named this evening.
Eurogamer’s Christian Donlan was the overall winner, for his piece, Night and the City, which was also named best feature.

Donlan was selected by a panel of 16 UK and US games journalists.
His win was announced ahead of a BAFTA panel discussion about games journalism. Two Thumbstar senior execs presented a prize cheque for 1,000, which Donlan said he was splitting in two: 500 to charity and 500 to start a bank account for his baby due in August.
Other winners were American writers Tom Bissell and Jason Schwartz.
