Dishonored 2 falls short of original as Call of Duty falls sharply

Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare remains the UK No.1, despite suffering a steeper drop in sales than its genre rivals. Week two sales of the Infinity Ward game were down 55 per cent. That’s significantly more than the 39 per cent and 41 per cent drop off seen with Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 respectively in their second weeks.

New release Dishonored 2 can manage only fourth place in its first week, with sales 38 per cent down on the week one performance of its predecessor. Which is surprising given how much attention the franchise has garnered since its first outing. That said, those are physical retail sales only and the title is topping the Steam charts at present.

Retail promotions see big gains for Forza Horizon 3, which climbs four places to sixth thanks to a 60 per cent sales spike, while Overwatch gains 11 places thanks to a 144 per cent jump. LEGO Dimensions, meanwhile, sees sales rocket 556 per cent, shooting all the way up from 37th to 9th.

Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization debuts in 33rd and Ubisoft’s VR title Eagle Flight in 39th.

Here’s the GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 10 for the week ending November 12th:

  1. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Activision)
  2. FIFA 17 (EA)
  3. Battlefield 1 (EA)
