Business development head to discuss 'why social mobile games need a new platform'

F2P Summit adds Gree to list of speakers

Mobile social games company Gree has been added to the list of speakers for the upcoming F2P Summit, it has been announced.

The firm’s EU business development head Kyoko Matsushita will discuss why mobile social games need a new platform.

“Many mobile social games are freemium but lack strong social effects,” said Matsushita.

“Only with the help of social platforms do mobile social games truly become social and achieve cost-effective acquisition, retention, and monetisation rates.

“During my session, developers will learn about the current state of the platform market, including how platforms interact with social games, why social games greatly benefit from platforms and how game developers can leverage platforms today. They will also learn how this plays out in different markets.”

Gree is a social games platform that currently has more than 190 million users, and offers more than 7,500 games.

The F2P Summit will take place on March 28th at Rich Mix in London, with early bird tickets available till March 14th.
