Hertfordshire kart track gets game debut

Lewis Hamilton’s training ground is to star in its own video game.

Rye House Kart Raceway in Hertfordshire will feature in Nordic Games’ Wii release Super Karts which arrives on March 25th.

Rye House will also be hosting an ‘elaborate’ event to promote the title.

We’re delighted to see the raceway in Super Karts. As the only real-life circuit in the game, we’re sure it will give gamers a rush,” said Rye House’s Christine Taylor

Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games added: It’s great that we’re able to utilise a real-life track such as Rye House Kart Raceway in one of our racing video games. The heritage the race circuit has lends itself perfectly to authenticity we strive to achieve with all our racing games.”
