LEGO Pirates heads to Gadget Show Live

Attendees of this year’s Gadget Show Live will be able to play LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean and parts of Gears of War 3 for the first time.

The upcoming titles will be showcased at the GAME stand in the Gadget Show Live’s Game Zone. The event runs from Wednesday, April 13th to Sunday, April 17th.

It’ll be the first time gamers will be able to get their hands on Disney’s title on Xbox 360, while Gears of War 3 fans will gain access to its Team Deathmatch mode. They will also be able to pre-order the titles from GAME at the event, with Gears buyers given a code to access the Beta on April 25th.

Those who pre-order LEGO Pirates will receive a limited edition mini strategy guide when the game goes on sale on May 13th. Gears of War 3 hits stores on September 20th.

Neil Ashurst, Head of UK PR for GAME said: We’re excited to offer this opportunity to all Gadget Show Live visitors.”

Disney product manager Juff Suter added: We’re delighted to partner with GAME once again at the Gadget Show Live. Last year we had a fantastic response to having Split/Second: Velocity at the GAME stand, and this year we are anticipating an even better response when we unveil LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, which we are certain people will love.”

The consumer event will follow a Gadget Show Live Professional trade day on Tuesday, April 12th. Exhibitors at the consumer show include EA, Nintendo and Sony.
