Tonight sees the fourth annual Games Media Awards kick off in London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom, and MCV will be bringing you unrivalled coverage as and when it happens.
This year’s GMAs is being supported by some of the market’s biggest companies including Gold Sponsors Microsoft, Nintendo, Activision, Codemasters, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft.
Other supporters include Best Print Writer sponsor Sega, Event Partner Gamescom, Drinks Reception host 505 Games and its new title Grease and after-show party organisers Nordic Games and Namco Bandai.
As ever, the nominations and winners have been voted for by members of the media and industry PRs. The categories are: Games Magazine, Games Website, Specialist Writer (Print), Specialist Writer (Online), Coverage by a National Newspaper, Coverage by a Mainstream Magazine, Regional Games Columnist, Games Broadcast/Podcast, Games Blog and Rising Star.

Alternatively, follow the Games Media Awards Twitter feed at @gamesmediaaward. It’s also worth following editor-in-chief @Michael_French and online editor @benparfitt who will both be in attendance and tweeting like there’s no tomorrow.
