Pigs to take starring role in next Angry Birds?

The next version of Angry Birds may well be from the pigs’ point of view, as they try to protect the eggs they have liberated from the fascist feathered attackers.

Pocket-lint claimsto have seen screenshots of the new game, which is expected to be available before Christmas.

Like the original series of games, this one is rumoured to also feature a catapult and a variety of structures – we expect the guano levels to be particularly messy. One of the biggest games of all-time on any platform, as of May 2012 there had beenone billion downloads of Angry Birdsgames.
