SBK 2011 races to retail in May

Publisher Black Bean Games announced today that SBK 2011 will arrive in May next year on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The newest instalment in the officially licensed SBK motorbike racing franchise is again in development at Milestone Studios. It will feature a new artistic direction, improved gameplay and other visual extras.

SBK 2011 will boast improved environments, 3D objects, menus, lighting effects and more, as well as all the latest bikes and riders from the 2011 SBK championship season.

A statement issued by Black Bean said: Following the successful international release of the award-winning SBKX, both Black Bean Games and Milestone are looking forward to setting a new standard in the bike racing genre.”

The previous game, SBKX, went on sale in April this year. Distributor Tradewest previously told MCV the rivalry between the SBK series and Capcom’s MotoGP franchise is healthy for the market.
