Ten finalists offered the chance to put their project under the eyes of industry elite

Showcase your indie project at Develop Conference

Indie devs are being offered the chance to demonstrate their newest project to hundreds of industry pros attending this year’s Develop Conference.

But the deadline for taking part is closing fast – developers have to register and submit their game before Friday May 20th.

After the deadline, a panel of experts will pick ten of the most promising indie titles to be demonstrated at the Develop Conference expo over a two-day period.

The Develop Conference takes place in Brighton from July 19-21st.

Of the ten finalists, one full winner will also be chosen and announced on the final day of the event.

The ten finalists will also be given two Indie Dev Day conference passes, worth £150 each, as well as up to five Expo passes.

“The Indie Showcase is a fantastic opportunity for indie developers to show-off the talent and originality coming out of smaller studios,” said event organiser Andy Lane.

“We urge everyone who qualifies to enter as it’s free and games in the showcase will be seen by developers and publishers from all over the world. So as well as raising the studio’s profile there’s always that chance they could leave Develop with a publishing deal.”

Entry is open to independent game studios with no more than 15 people at their studio. Their submitted project must be non-publisher funded, a development budget of less than £1 million.

Developers interested should visit www.developconference.com

On the second day of the conference, Wednesday July 20th, the industry will come together for the eighth annual Develop Industry Excellence Awards – Europe’s most respected games awards event.

Inquiries should be made to Kathryn.humprey@intentmedia.co.uk

Develop magazine and Develop-Online is to cover the whole event extensively across its three days.
