‘XYZ’ exhibit highlights women’s contributions to game design

A new exhibit featuring video games is now open at the Museum of Design Atlanta, showcasing games designed by women and how they offer a wider range of experiences than the majority of AAA titles.

Polygon reports the XYZ: Alternative Voices in Game Design exhibit has nearly 40 video games on display, as well as a number of tabletop games – including Brenda Romero’s Holocaust board game, Train (pictured).

The exhibit, which opened last week and runs through September 2nd, was created by the museum in conjunction with the Digital Media Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

XYZ is also being supplemented by a panel about women in the games industry. It takes place this evening, July 23rd, 6-8 pm local time within the confines of the museum.
