Remarkably, the two games have very contrasting personalities. Maximus Discus, an intense high-speed action game, features dramatic combat between Discus Warriors in a vintage old-school arcade style. Squidge Rush, by contrast, is based on a totally brand-new concept, bringing together strategic elements of tower defence with a whole host of "squidgy" adorable characters. Both games feature a multitude of intriguing stages and levels, capturing the attention with a set of highly addictive game dynamics.
"These are two thoroughly complete and standalone products," explains Kenny Ito, one of the four partners of RX Games. "Maintaining equal focus on both games was very important. We certainly didn't make any compromises to the entertainment value of either game."
"We realised quite early on that there was an apparent difference between the tastes of iPhone and Android users", adds Lee Wong, another of the partners. "Hence, to cater for the demands of each device's target audience, it was almost essential for us to design such contrasting games."

Maximus Discus is currently available on the Android Market for 99p (discounted from£1.99), along with an ad-supported free version.
Squidge Rush will be available for 59p from the App Store from the 21st April 2011. A Lite version of Squidge Rush will also be available for free from the App Store from the same day.
