A Celebration of Love: InnoGames Presents Valentine Events

Hamburg, February 14, 2013. Today, InnoGames announced several Valentine’s Day events in its browser games. From now on, fans of Forge of Empires, Grepolis and The West can look forward to some romantic new features. But players have to hurry up, all events only last a short time.

From February 14 to 18, players of Forge of Empires will be visited by the most famous couple in history – Romeo and Juliet – while tasked with preventing their well-known tragic end. In fitting with the celebration of love, the new quests will rely heavily on social, peaceful interactions. Solving the quest and uniting the pair results in a special reward – a unique building.

Only on February 14, players of the strategy game Grepolis will have access to a special Valentines festival.  This festival will be available for 24 hours and gives players culture points.

Even in the Wild West St. Valentine’s Day is celebrated: Western heroes can look forward to two surprises. From February 14 to 17, players will have access to a new quest line. Finishing the quest will reward them with a special item. In addition, the duel system will change for the time of the event: Players can find 3 bouquets of red roses during jobs. These can be equipped for duels instead of weapons, and if both duel opponents do this, the pair receives extra skill points.

With about 100 million registered players, InnoGames is one of the world's leading developers and publishers of online games. In addition to The West, the Hamburg-based company has scored major successes with games such as Tribal Wars, Forge of Empires and Grepolis.
